Plant Return Policy

Due to the living nature of our products, our return policy for plants is as follows:

  • Plants may be returned within 7 days of delivery if they arrive damaged or unhealthy
  • Photos of damaged plants must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery
  • Plants must be in their original containers to qualify for return
  • Custom or special-order plants are non-returnable unless defective

Plant Warranty

Backprskeleton offers plant warranties based on your service package:

  • Essential Green Package: 30-day plant warranty
  • Garden Suite Package: 60-day plant warranty
  • Botanical Luxury Package: 90-day plant warranty

Warranty coverage requires that plants receive proper care according to our provided care instructions. Plants that fail due to neglect, improper watering, or environmental conditions outside our recommendations are not covered.

Container and Accessory Returns

Non-plant items such as decorative containers and accessories may be returned under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase
  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Custom or personalized items are non-returnable

Service Cancellation

For interior landscaping service appointments:

  • Consultations may be rescheduled with 24-hour notice at no charge
  • Installation cancellations require 48-hour notice for full deposit refund
  • Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit deposit amount
  • Maintenance plan cancellations require 30-day written notice

Refund Process

Refunds are processed as follows:

  • Approved refunds are issued within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method
  • Store credit may be offered as an alternative to refunds
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item was defective

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return or warranty claim:

  • Contact us via email or phone with your order details
  • Provide photos of damaged or defective items
  • Include your order number and date of purchase
  • Describe the issue in detail

Exceptions

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Gift cards and promotional items
  • Plants that have been transplanted from original containers
  • Items damaged due to misuse or neglect
  • Clearance or final sale items
